Michigan Avenue Baptist Church has requested that the HOA cancel tonight’s meeting. At this time, we have rescheduled the meeting for March 10th. This is a tenative date and must be approved by the church. More infomation will follow as it becomes available.

Please make plans to join us on February 24th at 6:00 pm at Michigan Ave. Baptist Church. The By-Laws require the presence, in person or by Proxy, of twenty-five percent (25%) of our members. Each lot owner has one vote. If you are unable to attend, please fill out your Proxy and give a neighbor, that will be attending, the right to vote on your behalf. A proxy will be included in the packet that will be mailed to you. It is imperative that we have a quorum so we can carry on with the business of the Homeowner’s Association.
Please note: Yearly fees were due on December 31st, 2014. Any payments received after March 31st, 2015 will be delinquent and subject to a $25.00 late charge. Dues are $100.00 each year. If you have a circumstance that is keeping you from paying your dues, please contact us immediately. We are willing to work with you.

Yard Sale
August 26, 2014The Fall Benwood Yard Sale will be held on September 5-6. An ad will be placed in the local newspaper. All members are welcome to participate.
Benwood Easter Egg Hunt
April 14, 2014Please join your neighbors for an Easter Egg Hunt on April 19th, 2:00 PM at 146 Benwood Trail NE- rain or shine. The Brnik Family is hosting the free egg hunt in conjunction with First Baptist Church. Everyone is welcome. Eggs will be provided by the Church and will be recycled for next year. Snacks will be available for the children attending. The Brnik’s would greatly appreciate candy donations. If you would like to donate candy, please simply place it in the box on their front porch at 146 Benwood Trail NE. Thanks to the Brnik family for being great neighbors! Come out and support them on Saturday!

Fall Yard Sale
August 23, 2012Our fall yard sale will be September 7th-8th. Signs have been posted at the entrances and an ad will be placed in the paper and on the radio.
Benwood Family in need…
May 2, 2012As most of you already know, a home in our neighborhood was destroyed by fire on Saturday afternoon. A fund has been set up to help this family if any of you would like to make a donation. Any amount is greatly appreciated by the family. The Craig’s have lost everything and need clothing, furniture, and other household items. They are hoping to find a home to rent in Benwood so they can stay in the neighborhood if possible. If you know of anyone who has a home for rent, please call the HOA at 665-9293. Denise and Jeff Craig have given us permission to release the following information.
Clothing information:
JJ (son) wears: Size 8, men’s shoe; sm-med shirt; size 18, boys’ pants;
Denise wears: Size 24, ladies pants; 2X blouses;
Jeff wears: 46 X 32 pants, 3XLT shirts, Size 13 wide shoes.
