The Benwood Homeowners’ Association welcomes you to your new home and our subdivision. Benwood is a wonderful place to live- congratulations!
A home is the most valuable asset the majority of us will ever own. We are very proud of our subdivision and want to maintain our property’s value. You should have been made aware during closing, of Benwood’s restrictions and Homeowners’ Association dues. Our fees are $100.00 each year and are due in January. Your money goes to keep our front entrance area maintained, street lights on and properly functioning, and other projects that help increase the value of every home in our subdivision. The Board of Directors meet quarterly and will post all meeting dates on signs at the entrance of the subdivision and on this website. To subscribe to our e-mail list, please click on the link on the top right side of the website. You will be notified by e-mail each time we add an event to the website. If you do not have a copy of our restrictions, please go to the “Important Information” tab. There you will find not only the restrictions, but other vital documents such as the “Architectural Review Application.” This application must be submitted to the Architectural Review Committee if you decide to make any modifications to the outside of your home. Please read paragraphs 41 and 42 of the restrictions for more information.
